Remembrance

This year we are all being encouraged to conduct Acts of Remembrance safely on our doorsteps around 11am on Sunday 8th and likewise Wednesday 11th – a deep silent meaningful equivalent of the Thursday NHS clapping earlier in the year.

Click here to view or download some words and prayers to use at your Doorstep Act of Remembrance, and also for information about the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

You can make a donation to The Royal British Legion and download your own poppy to print and display by clicking here.

Local Acts of Remembrance

Welcome to 4RIVERS CHURCHES local Acts of Remembrance.   Below you will see a set of videos, and thank you to all who have contributed to them.   Remember you can click the ‘full screen’ button to make the videos larger.

This first video contains a Welcome from Rev Ted, and poems and prayers.   Many thanks to Jason Fisher for the organ accompaniment to the poems.

In the following videos, each of our churches reads their local Roll of Honour.

This final video completes the Act of Remembrance, with the Last Post and Act of Commitment to Peacefulness.
